The Shoreline Shorts pattern is a simple but simply perfect shorts pattern. There are two lengths to choose from, optional pockets and an elasticated waist. The pattern is designed for medium-weight knit fabrics such as French terry or sweatshirt fleece.

This Shoreline Shorts pattern uses the teen male/straight fit measurement chart and goes from teen 10 – teen 20. There are matching teen curve fit and children's Shoreline Shorts patterns. All are suitable for enthusiastic beginners.

The Teen Measurement charts go from Teen 10 to Teen 20. The numbers are just names and do not indicate ages. Always use measurements when picking a size to make! A Teen 10 approximately matches a Child 10 and a Teen 20 approximately matches an Adult Medium so the Teen measurements bridge the gap between child and adult.

An overlocker/serger can be used for many steps but importantly, a regular sewing machine is all you need for all options.
