The Aura Yoga Mat Bag is a simple and practical, cylinder-shaped roll-top bag with a carabiner closure. It’s sized to fit most standard yoga mats. The bag is fully lined and has a detachable, adjustable shoulder strap.

Suggested fabrics: Choose a strong non-stretch fabric, such as canvas or denim. You can also make use of leftover fabrics, as the pattern pieces are quite small. For the lining, choose a lighter but durable non-stretch fabric, such as plain cotton. Avoid using fabrics that are too rough, so that the yoga mat can be easily tucked into the bag.

Fabric requirements: The fabric requirements include a 5% allowance for shrinkage. Note that the fabric consumption may be greater for fabrics with a pattern and for fabrics that need to be cut in one direction.
